A three-minute walk from the Karasuma Exit of Kyoto Station, on a corner of Akezu-dori, you will find Hifumi Ryokan. Founded in 1956 (Showa 31), our inn has welcomed travellers from across Japan and around the world for seventy years as a Government-Registered International Tourist Ryokan.
Yuba-laced morning rice porridge, Kyoto-style kaiseki course meals, the scent of fresh tatami, the smile of the okami (proprietress). Carrying the warmth of the city itself, we wish you a peaceful moment in your journey through Kyoto.
